Our mission is to save the cheetah in the wild and stop the trafficking of cheetah cubs.
Our Mission
Cheetah Conservation Fund Canada works in partnership with Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) in Namibia for the long-term survival of the wild cheetah and its ecosystems. CCF manages an integrated program of community engagement, research, education, and the reintroduction of cheetah into natural habitats. At their facility in Namibia, CCF also provides care and shelter for cheetahs that have become orphaned or injured, and unable to survive in the wild.
A new focus is on combating the illegal pet trade through the horn of Africa and new facilities and programs are being created in Somaliland.
